Marisa T. Dery (Tamar Mastering, USA) participated in the AES 33rd International Conference Denver, USA and won first place in the contest in audio enhancement. The participants of the contest received a disk containing 5 samples of typical noise problems (telephone hum, near/far party problems, waterfall noises, restaurant recordings, moving multiple tones, etc.). The AES Audio Forensics Technical Committee evaluated contest entries and STC - a forensic software company from Russia - was the winner of the contest. Altogether over 60 experts and audio engineers from different countries participated in this international conference.
