Marisa T. Dery is the Chief Engineer at Tamar Mastering, as well as the principal consultant in Forensic Audio at ARCCA, a technology service firm, and an audio engineer at Harvard University's Audio Preservation Services.

Dery, a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Music Production and Engineering, worked at the Tape Complex - at the time the largest real-time duplication center on the East Coast - for thirteen years, several of them as Chief Engineer. Marisa left the Tape Complex in 2002 and founded Tamar Mastering, in order to create a room where people could feel comfortable and trust that their vision was properly captured.

Marisa has worked at a record label, as chief engineer at an audio/video duplication house and as head of audio in a video post-production house. She has over 20 years experience in the industry, worked with a variety of styles of music, and enhanced many types of recording for the judicial system.
